Why do we exist?

Today I've had some free time at school and suddenly this question, "Why do we exist?" popped up in my ever confused mind. Everyday I see my father going to office to earn money to look after the family, my mother takes care of the household work and I go to school everyday to gain knowledge(at least that's what I'm supposed to do). Everybody on this earth goes through the same routine, though there might be little bit of variation.

Most people I see don't even have a definite aim and even if they do have one It isn't worth the work. I mean, at the end of the day all you have to do is survive. If we, the world and the universe wasn't created in the first place then we wouldn't have had this headache of surviving. I know, this sounds pointless but, it actually does make sense. Think over it a bit and see if you can get an answer to this question.

I'm alive and breathing.

Its been roughly 6 months since my last update on Posterous and its been exactly 1 month since my last tweet. Why wasn't I updating? The main reason was school. We had so many projects and activities going on at the school that I could not find time to update my Posterous or Twitter. But, now things have slowed down a bit, and looks like I'll have enough time to spend on the internet.

Another reason for me not updating my accounts was my lack of inspiration. I kinda lost focus somewhere in the middle of everything that I was doing. But, somehow I managed to fill myself up with inspiration. I've learned quite a lot about internet marketing whenever I got a little time since it really caught my attention. I've got some pretty awesome stuff in the making. I'm planning to modify my Posterous theme a little bit and open source it for the other Posterous users. Also I'm revamping my website which was abandoned by at the start of 2010.

Google Chrome now has more than 3,000 extensions

It was only December when Google officially launched extensions for its Chrome browser. Almost immediately, there were 500 extensions in the gallery as many developers had been working on them for a while. Today, Google is saying that number is now past 3,000. And that’s significant because it’s already pretty close to the browser known for its extensions (which it calls “add-ons”), Firefox.<br />

Tech Wishlist

Just thought of making a list with all the gadgets that I'm planning to get this year. I don't know If I'll be able to get all of them, but hopefully I'll get at least get a few of them.

Camera - Nikon D90. I'm badly in need of a good camera. Once I get the camera I'll probably be posting a lot of photos on my posterous and maybe I'll be doing Vlogs.

iPhone 3GS - The current phone that I got is pretty old and I'm bored with it. I'm not considering getting any other phone other than the iPhone because the other phone lack apps and I feel that a phone is nothing without quality apps.

MacBook Pro 15" - I'm tired of sitting in front of my PC for hours. Now I'd like to go portable.

iPad - This is one more device that would allow me to go portable.

XBox 360 - The only reason why I'm getting the XBox 360 is to play Gears of War 2. I was really impressed on playing Gears of War on my PC.

That was all I could think about for now. As time passes I might add more stuff to my tech wishlist. You can share your wishlist in the comments if you'd like to.

Quick look at Flavors.me

I've just recently got an invite to this amazing website. I just played with it a bit and found it pretty cool. Here is my quick look(review) of it.

Every wanted all your social feeds to be accessed from one place? Well, now you can do that with Flavors.me. The website allows you to instantly set up feeds from all the popular social networking websites and allows you to customize the pages. Everything in the page can be changed from the layout to wallpaper to fonts. I could make my Flavors.me page in about 15 minutes and I was surprised at how well the website organized the feeds. I really liked the minimalistic look of the page.

Finally I would like to say that Flavors.me is a quick solution to stream all your social feeds on one page. Currently the website is in private beta. You need to go to the website and submit your email id for an invite. The invite should arrive in about 2 or 3 weeks. It's definitely worth the wait. Also don't forget to checkout my Flavors.me page.

Does Google have any original ideas?

Just came across this video on Comedy.com. The guy in the video is actually right. Did Google ever do anything original? No, it never did anything that was original. Even the search engine was a copy of some other search engine which doesn't exist now. They just copy stuff or buy them. I've watched this video over 20 times and don't seem to get bored of it. The part at the end of the video is freaking funny!

My thoughts about the iPad

Since most of you know the specifications and other stuff about of the iPad,  I will not be telling you anything about it. I'll just give my quick opinion about it.

From the day the iPad was released I've been reading a lot of articles about it. Surprisingly majority of what it received was criticism. Most of the people were criticizing the iPad that it didn't have flash, camera, multitasking and other senseless stuff. Most of the people I have talked to just look at the iPad as an over sized iPhone without the phone and the camera. But, let me tell you that it's much more than that. It's a device whose market doesn't even exist. It's a fresh new device aimed to give people an amazing experience for reading books, browsing the internet, viewing photos, playing games etc. I don't know about the others but the gorgeous 9.7 inch multi-touch screen just tempts me to get my hands on it.

Hello, World!

Hey, I'm Sunil and I'm a young web developer, designer and a very creative person. I like minimalism and that's probably the reason why I'm using Posterous. I like to keep things simple and clean. I like the web and everything related to it. Most of my time is consumed sitting in front of the computer. Coding, designing, blogging, gaming, watching, talking, listening, mailing and twittering are the stuff that I mostly do. On my Posterous I'll be posting about my daily life and stuff that I come across on the web.
